BIOGRAPHY
Kickstart Autoart was born in 2003 when my friends and colleagues indulged my passion for drawing and I found a gap in the market, free hand personalised automotive caricatures.
After 10 years experience in the car painting industry it occurred to me that the buzz that I was getting from my work was no longer excitement but the effects of prolonged chemical inhalation, so I went in search of a more meaningful life and of course, like many of the male persuasion found all that my heart desired.... an aqua Chevy BelAir with whitewall tyres and a cheeky smirk on her chrome bumpers, the car of which the women in my life are still jealous.
As my client requests have increased so has customer satisfaction as I take pride in learning all that my customers desire about the 'car in their life' and I personally guarantee every piece of artwork to my own extremely high standards.
The bulk of my artwork is commissioned as gifts with broad appeal, and they are becoming increasingly popular with women wanting to purchase a unique and original gift for the men in their lives, either as a 21st, anniversary or fathers day gift to name but a few, what do people say? keep your friends close and your competition even closer! However original artwork is often sought out for other purposes such as staff incentives, visual motifs and for use in advertising as business cards, stationary, letterheads and signage.
I am developing a line of greeting cards, which can be tailored to meet the needs of your company, as well as Christmas, birthday, father’s day and also valentines day and a get well cards. These will be available in the coming months and can be personalised in a variety of ways to suit a huge variety of needs.
I am able to produce pieces in a short space of time, on average two to three weeks. As an extra treat I can even frame or print on canvas!
