BIOGRAPHY
Tauranga artist Louise Prastiti has a unique
style that has gained her a wide following. Working in acrylics,
her paintings are a rich blend of overlapped images,
layers of collage, and succulent colour.
She is particularly known for her figurative and semi abstract
work that depicts people in their workplace or at leisure.
Louise has a broad background as an artist, working in the
Middle East and Europe on a variety of projects ranging from
graphic design, cartoon illustration and textile printing.
On her return to NZ in the early 90’s began painting full-time
And 10 years on has participated in over 50 exhibitions
